"But a Christian who is indwelled by the Holy Spirit cannot be possessed by a demon."
"Are We Too Concerned with Demons?", Ligonier (from Pleasing God)

THE POSITION

There is a devil and there are real demons, but Satan is a creature, not everywhere at once, and too much concern with demons takes our attention off Christ. A Christian cannot be possessed, because the Holy Spirit lives in the regenerate, and no one may say the devil made them do it. What was read does not say how the fight is carried on, so no stance is assigned.
