Billy Graham on the person of Christ
One person in two natures, unconfused and undivided
When you read the record of the coming of Jesus into the world—born in a stable, born of a woman, reared in the woodshop of a poor Jewish carpenter—you could not grasp the truth that He was the God-man if the Scriptures didn't reveal it.
THE POSITION
Jesus is "the God-man," God incarnate, "God clothed in a human body in the person of Jesus Christ," and the incarnation is "the crux and the core of the Christian message." "Clothed in a human body," taken strictly, would understate the human soul; read beside "fully human" it is popular idiom. A My Answer column under his name puts it as "Jesus wasn't only fully human, He was also fully God." He states the union as a revealed mystery and does not use the Chalcedonian vocabulary of natures and person, so the stance is assigned from what he affirms, both full deity and full humanity in one Christ, not from a technical formula.
16 By common confession, the mystery of godliness is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among the nations, was believed in throughout the world, was taken up in glory.

ABOUT THIS FIGURE
Evangelist of the citywide crusades from 1947 to 2005, ordained a Southern Baptist minister, founder, with L. Nelson Bell, of Christianity Today (1956) and convener of the 1974 Lausanne Congress. He is generally reckoned to have preached in person to more people than anyone before him and was the public face of postwar evangelicalism. This entry rests on sermon texts dated 1951 to 2005 that the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association republishes on the Decision magazine website, his recorded Billy Graham Minutes, his daily devotions, interviews he gave to Time, Christianity Today, Newsweek and Robert Schuller, and the My Answer column that ran under his name. By the standard account the column was written with staff, so cells that rest on it say so.
