"provided they stand prepared for the battle, implore his help, and be not wanting to themselves, Christ preserves them from falling"
Declaration of Sentiments V, "The Perseverance of the Saints"

THE POSITION

Believers grafted into Christ have strength to fight Satan, sin, the world and the flesh and to win, but only with the Spirit's grace. Christ helps them in every temptation, provided they stand ready for battle and call on him, and no craft or power of Satan can drag them out of his hands.
