THE POSITION
Indwelling is ordinary, permanent, and true of every believer at all times — stated directly in the doctrinal statement and used there to explain the sense in which the Lord's Supper is 'an actual communion with the risen Christ.' The timing follows his monergistic account of regeneration and his rejection of baptismal regeneration as a Baptist.
9 You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
