STANCE

Eternal conscious punishment

In the consummation, Satan with his hosts and all those outside Christ are finally separated from the benevolent presence of God, enduring eternal punishment, but the righteous, in glorious bodies, shall live and reign with Him forever, serving Him and giving Him unending praise and glory.

THE POSITION

Eternal punishment, with the lost finally separated from the benevolent presence of God, set against the righteous who live and reign with Christ in glorious bodies for ever. The two destinies are stated in one sentence and given the same duration, so the finality applies to both.
