Eternal conscious punishment
but the wicked who know not God, and obey not the Gospel of Jesus Christ, shall be cast into Eternal torments, and punished with everlasting destruction, from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power.
THE POSITION
Chapter 32.2 sends the wicked into eternal torments and everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, set in deliberate parallel with the eternal life of the righteous. Chapter 31.1 has the intermediate state as well: the souls of the wicked cast into hell, in torment and utter darkness, reserved to the judgement of the great day, 'besides these two places for Souls separated from their bodies, the Scripture acknowledgeth none' — an explicit exclusion of purgatory.

The confessional standard of the Particular Baptists, first printed 1677 and adopted by the London General Assembly of 1689. It takes over the Westminster Confession chapter by chapter and rewrites it at four points that matter: the covenant (ch. 7), the gospel and the extent of its grace (ch. 20, which Westminster has no counterpart to), the church (ch. 26), and baptism (ch. 29). This entry rests on the 1677/1689 printing with its own Scripture proofs, read against the Westminster text clause by clause.
